so i never had this problem before but in cubase 9,
when i zoom in to cross fade two audio files (move one file on top of the other)
i cannot view the waveform moving (as i move the file) and i don’t know if i am matching it on the right spot.
can anyone help? is this a preference problem?

Does the event move afterwards? Isn’t just the Snap switched On?
I’ve noticed this as well.
In previous versions, once you moved the cursor by dragging it along in the ruler, it would go to the middle of the screen. I think it was the same if you dragged down in the cursor to zoom. Now it stays to one side until I press play, then it moves to the middle.
Is there something I have missed?
