Problem with condensing and stems

A while ago I got lots of help to make the looks of a Gregorian chant as I wanted it. It is part of a requiem.

After I imported all the other flows of the piece; I wanted to change a little thing in the chant. In the requiem there are two alto parts. The chant used only one alto part. But I want the two alto parts sing the chant unisono. So I copied the notes and text to the other alto-part.

Then I wanted it condensed in that flow, because two identical parts are not neccesary in the full score . But when it was condensed all the stems of the notes were back again.

In condensed mode you can not change this I found out.
Is there a way to condens the two alto voices without getting the unwanted stems back?

The only flow in the comple piece that has to be condensed is this flow. I did not find a way to condens only one flow. So I had to put a condensing change in all the other flows. Is there perhaps a quicker way of doing this?

Could you manually hide one of the Alto staves in these sections and use text or another method to alter the staff label on the remaining staff?

@gerardka
Actually, you can.
I tried with a marquee selection on the condensed staff in Engrave Mode, and activated Hide stem:

Yes, that is the solution. Thanks very much!

I have have learned a lot about Dorico but I have to learn a lot more. I am very grateful for the help given by the kind people here!!!

You are welcome, @gerardka.
