Problem with Cubase Elements 7 license after Hard Drive Fail

I’m hoping that someone here can help me with a problem I’ve encountered since a Hard Drive Failure.

I’m a music teacher with a pupil who bought a boxed version of Cubase Elements 7 at the end of last year and has used it without issue. However, following a number of problems with the computer itself, the Hard Drive had to be factory reset.

As the software was authorised using the soft eLicenser, we reinstalled Cuabse and tried to reactivate the license without success.

What should we do in this case?
