I saved the options of a score (layout, notation, engrave) to “default” and hoped the selectons made could be imported then
to another score (via “reset to saved defaults”) - does this really work?
At least the layout setting for “percussion”, saved as “grid”, was not set so after “reset to saved defaults”; found “five lines” instead.
I have the impression that other options also were not imported this way, but it is difficult to keep track, given the complexity.
It would be great, by the way, if there was at least some way to export the settings to a textfile. If it does not work via the defaults, this would make it easier to adapt a new score to get the same appearance of an other score.
