Problem with joined barlines

Somehow I’ve ended up with unjoined barlines on a grand stave from a certain point in a score. I clearly inadvertently pressed an option somewhere. All the systems before this point are joined, all of them afterwards are not. I tried the “Barline Joins all Staves” in Engrave mode, but nothing happened. Not sure what to try next.

If you select a barline in Engrave mode, there’s a small handle that you can drag, or select and move with alt/opt-arrows. Might also be that there’s a bracket and barline change that you can delete with signposts shown.
