When I work within a group in SLP I am used to seeing the composite picture of my work. In SLP5, if I copied audio to an 100 percent phase inverted layer, the display showed black (correctly) since the audio was in effect cancelled. In SLP6, with all of the group layers set to the same color as the group, doing the same operation makes the inverted audio BRIGHTER. Am I missing some setting in preferences or is this a bug?
I think I’ve figured it out. I have to be in composite view in order to see it correctly.
Correct, either Composite View, or closing the group will show the sum of its layers.
