Problem with setting up audio

Hi.

So I just bought Cubase Elements 12 because I wanted better sounds (I used Ableton before) and I wanna set up my mic (USB condenser microphone), but I don’t know how. Do I have to buy vocals or something?

When I go to ASIO driver to select, I only see built-in audio. I have my mic selected in the built-in audio control panel so I don’t know what I’m doing wrong.

Please someone help

Hi,

If you are on Mac, use Aggregate Device, please. Is you are on Windows, use ASIO4ALL, please.

Thanks. I’m on Mac but where do I find it?

Hi,

In the Audio MIDI Setup of macOS. You will need to use the USB mic as the input and the Speaker as the output.

Then select the Aggregate Device as your ASIO Driver in Cubase > Studio > Studio Setup > Audio System, please.

Audio MIDI setup? Do you mean the MIDI port setup?

Hi,

No, I mean the Audio MIDI Setup of the system, as I wrote.

Use Spotlight to search for it in your system, please.

Oh sorry I did that but it still doesn’t show up in the ASIO driver.
