Problem with UAD b3 virtual instrument

VST Live 3.0.17. I noticed that Universal Audio virtual instruments, in this case the B3 organ, doesn’t work properly; there are constant noises and crackles. I tried various methods, but the problem remained unchanged. PC: Windows OS 11 Pro, Intel i9-13900 CPU.

Hi Paolo, with an i9-13900, those crackles are often caused by the E-cores or aggressive power throttling in Windows 11 rather than the plugin itself. Try setting your Windows Power Plan to High Performance and check if your BIOS has Intel SpeedStep or C-States enabled as disabling those can often stabilize high demand plugins in a live environment. If that doesn’t help, you might also check if the buffer size in VST Live matches what is set in your audio interface driver.

Thank you for your reply.
I checked what you suggested and, after several tests, I found that disabling the c-states resolved the problem, the CPU frequency remained very stable, and the noise I was hearing in the UAD B3 plugin disappeared.
