Problem with vl-122

Hi Guy,

I’ve a problem with vl-122 vst spinet.
When I try to duplicate a instrument track of vl-122, Cubase 8 Elements crashes and It’s necessary to reload it.
Had anyone the same issue?

Hi,

Make sure, the plug-in is up-to-date. Try, if Cubase crashes also if you just add another instance of this plug-in (Add an Instrument track).

Are you running it in 64bit Cubase?
I suspect it is a problem/incompatibility with Cubase bitbridge.

And is the plug-in 32-bit? If there is a 64-bit version, use this, please.

No this is an old free 32bit only plug as far as I can see. That’s why I suspected it would be a bridging problem.

Depending how important to you 32bit plugs in general are you might want to invest in Jbridge…but the better option is to just wean yourself off of 32bit plugs altogether.

Or you could use 32-bit Cubase. Cubase 8.5 is the last Cubase version, which supports 32-bit.
