Since updating from earlier Yosemite versions, I’m finding that my Cubase 7.5.4 is completely unusable on my MacBook Pro unless the support for it in the remote control menu is disabled by removing it with the “-” icon.
When it’s in the menu, the entire UI freezes up and moves in very slow motion (1 update per second!). It also slows down everything else in the entire machine when Cubase is running and it’s enabled.
I don’t know if the problem is only present when Cubase iC itself is running on the pad or not, but it definitely acts this way when Cubase iC Pro is not running on them, so I had to disable it to allow normal operation of Cubase and of my machine.
Is anyone else seeing this problem?
Cubase 7.5.4 is working perfectly well (even better than before) in all other ways since the Yosemite update, as are all other functions on the Macbook except for this problem…
