Bonjour, Voici un nouveau problème technique. J’ai fait la mise à jour de Dorico 3.5 vers Dorico. I use Focusrite Asio USB comme d’habitude (44 100 herz) . Pour écrire la musique pas de problème mais pour la lecture je suis obligé de commuter à 88 200 pour avoir un son correct. Pourtant je n’ai rien changé dans les paramètres. Quand j’utilise CUBASE 11 je n’ai pas ce problème. De lecture avec 44 100 herz. Merci par avance pour votre aide.

To write the music no problem but for reading I have to switch to 88 200 to have a correct sound. However, I haven’t changed anything in the settings. When I use CUBASE 11 I don’t have this problem. Why? What goes wrong if you do not switch? (What is the “correct sound”? What do you get instead?) We need a little more information to help us help you.
Bonjour Derrek : quand je reste sur 44 100 herz pour la lecture, le son est haché et pour qu’il ne le soit pas, je suis obligé de régler à 88 100 herz quand j’utilise DORICO 4.1. Dans gestionnaire du périphérique, tout est OK comme avant par contre je n’ai pas l’option pour décocher autorisation application hôte ASIO…Pour info, j’ai CUBASE 11 et je crois que DORICO utilise le moteur audio de Cubase? Par contre quand j’utilise Dorico 3.5, je n’ai pas de problème. Je ne sais pas trop quoi penser. Merci par avance.
Normally Derrek is right, namely increasing the buffer size should stabilize the audio performance, but in your case try to decrease it to 512 and see how that does for you. The from Derrek linked thread explains the situation.
But if you want to stay with 1024 samples buffer size, then instead open the Dorico Preferences Dialog, choose the Play tab and scroll all the way down to the Advanced Options. Unfold the item and then switch off ASIO Guard (and relaunch Dorico.) It should also work then for you.
