I’ve just noticed that I can’t add an insert slot on individual clips like I could in 6. It’s not something I always need, but do today. Is there any way to add individual processing to clips? Thanks!

In montage there’s an “effects” tab. Click that, then the click the “clip” tab when the effects window opens. When you select a clip, you can then add effects with the + button. These are “pre” track effects, which are applied to all clips in an EDL lane.
Sometimes the workspace might not show all available tabs - try using an Ultimate or Power montage workspace if you don’t see it.
