Project Logical Editor: How to (1) select filtered events (2) use "description"?

As described in the thread title, I would like to be able to:

  1. use the “description” field of an audio event as a filter parameter

and

  1. under “Actions” be able to select filtered events on the timeline

It would seem to me that these things should be possible, but I can’t seem to find any of it anywhere. Can anyone either confirm if it’s not possible or where those items would be?

Selecting is in the Functions dropdown at the bottom, and the description field can be searched using the Name filter, but with Contains only. Not optimal, but possible.

I forgot about the dialog at the bottom, thanks. Must need more coffee today.

But the PLE as you set it up doesn’t work on my end. Same on both Nuendo 13 and 14. Not sure what I’m missing here. Using your names and setup exactly I think:

(I tried DEselect above just to show there was no action on the event)

The problem seems to be in the filter. No matter the action it won’t trigger.

uh oh… maybe it’s different on Nuendo. I did it in Cubase and don’t have a Nuendo install currently.
