Is there a way to rename the tracks so that they match the name of the part resulting from the render audio?
I have a MIDI track, connected to a Rack Instrument - Kontakt for example, with several instruments loaded - when I render to audio the part gets the name of the MIDI track, but the resulting audio track gets the name of Kontakt(R).
Can I reassign a new name from the part without having to input it manually?
I could be wrong, of course, but I don’t think it’s possible. I have looked in the PLE presets list and parameters, in the Key Commands and even in the Export Audio Mixdown Naming Scheme : nowhere there is a ‘(First)Part’ or ‘(First)event’ parameter available for renaming tasks.
Maybe someone else will have a better idea for a workaround. Otherwise, it could be a good subject for a feature request : being able to name a track with its first part/event name, as an available option in the File Name Settings of the Render Selection window and/or in the Naming Scheme of the Export Audio Mixdown one.
