I did the following:

Created Dorico project on iPad (default save to iCloud)

Moved project to a project folder within my iCloud Documents

Opened Drupal from project folder and worked on project on desktop Drupal

Imported and worked on that project on iPad Drupal
I then discovered that iPad Dorico had saved a new copy to Drupal’s iCloud directory rather than my project directory in iCloud documents
Why didn’t Dorico for iPad write the project back to where where it had imported it?
I kept on wondering why my updates had been apparently lost until I realised what was going on
I even went to the extent of deleting the Dorico project from the iPad hub “recent projects’ to try to have Dorico forget the project’s origins but still Dorico would not subsequently write the project back to where it was imported
