Project set to 24 bit and Macbook Pro speakers set to 32 bit float

Hey there,
So I just noticed that my Macbook Pro’s speakers in the Audio MIDI Setup window are set to 32 bit float.
I have my Cubase project files set to 24 bit.

Is this fine or should I go up to 32 bit float in my projects to match the bit depth of my computer?

You can safely use any project bit depth you prefer. There’s no loss of quality from playing back 16/24 bit files on devices with higher bit rates.
