Project Setup doesn't load at start

Hi,

i never had this issue until i deleted the pref folder because some problems with nuendo.
now when i load nuendo, the preference setup does not restore last session.
so i always have to amnually go there and load a preset i stored.
well… i have similar issue before deleting the pref folder with the toolbar at the top of editi window that never remembers my settings. i have to load them amnually…
very fustrating. any idea why ?

Do I understand you right, the preferences is not stored?

Doesn’t Nuendo Crash (silently) while Quit? Can you see any crash dump files in the Documents/Steinberg/crash dumps folder?

thx for the idea.
i only have 5 crash files in this folder and never emptied it. looks like these are “real” crash

Are these a recent files? Or were they created a long time ago?

Can you verify the files in the Preferences folder are overwritten while quit Nuendo?

mmm nop creation date and modified dates are the same.

Then this is the problem. Not loading the setup, but storing it.

Is Cubase installed on the C (system) drive? Do you have permission to write to this folder? Can you try to start Cubase as administrator, please?
