Will I be able to send the program project window to the musician in Cubase as a video stream, like in Nuendo it is possible? Is this option also available in the cooperation between VST Connect Pro 5.6 and Cubase 15?
Hi there - the video sharing window in VST Connect Pro is very capable and can share any webcam, desktop or window on your host computer, and the receiving performer can resize their video window to a size to suit themselves. But there is one important limitation - if you attempt to share the Cubase window itself, it will crash your Cubase session (at least that’s my experience - I use MacOS).
What I do to achieve the functionality you are looking for is to put Cubase (or the Project Window or whatever I want to share) onto a specific screen in a two-monitor setup, and share that entire screen to the VST Performer. This works without crashing.
