Proofreading dynamics

Proofreading is a great addition to Dorico 6!
I noticed that combining dynamics with ‘più’ triggers a message indicating this dynamic is redundant – which isn’t.

is it possible to see the project? When I try that, it is not flagged! I assume you’ve used the dynamics panel?

Dynamics were entered using the popover.

what you seem to have done is to create a dynamic and then in the Properties simply typed in “piu” as a prefix. However if you use the dynamics popover and type “piu f” or you use the panel and click on f and piu (which is what I did initially), then this is accepted. The team will be able to confirm if it should also work with your method – I’d say you perhaps have a point!

@dko22 Thanks for you feedback, David. For clarification, opening the popover and entering ‘più f’ is what I usually do and did in this case.

Edit: David, you’re right. It seems I did use the prefix function after all. At least, I can’t reproduce the behavior using just the popover menu. Thanks for pointing that out.

I myself have never used the prefix function in this context so it will be interesting to see if the team would expect it to work in this scenario. Glad we’re now on the same page, anyway!
