Hi
I moved a DS Sign to the right of a rehearsal mark because its appearance above the rehearsal mark takes too much space.
I did this in Engrave mode and choose edit > propagate properties, hoping the change would appear in all parts…
Wrong thinking…
What am i doing wrong? Other solutions? I hope I don’t have to adjust each part individually?
DS Signs are system objects. Positions of system objects (whether repeat markers are system text or rehearsal marks or whatever) cannot be propagated, because in many cases the distance between the object and the relevant staff will be entirely different in the score(s) to the part(s).
You might try experimenting with the various general options for horizontal and vertical positioning of Rehearsal Marks and Repeat Markers within Engraving Options.
