Proper Sequential Naming

Hello guys,

I’ve been struggling with this for a long time and I was wondering if there is a way around it…

When bouncing or rendering in place, audio files don’t start with a suffix of “01” rather with the indicated name and then numbers are added at the end of the filename. Therefore, you end up with something that looks like Glass, Glass-01, Glass-02,Glass-03 etc.

What I am trying to achieve is to name the rendered audio files as Glass-01, Glass-02, Glass-03, Glass-04. In other words, add the -01 suffix to the very first rendered or bounced file.

Any suggestions?

Hi,

I’m sorry, there is no Naming Scheme, how it is in the Rnder in Place Export, or an Export Audio Mixdown window. So you cannot define the name of the rendered file a much.

Thanks Martin,

Yes, export or manually renaming files seems to be my solution for now. However, I am interested to see how others deal with this matter.
