Pulgins putting themselves into bypass

I have had a problem where after importing a clip package then moving the imported audio with automation something seemed to happen and most of my plugins and track eq’s put themselves into bypass without me touching them.

I’m sure the clip package import had nothing to do with this, but I thought I should mention it.

I’m not sure if any other parameters were altered. It looks a bit like what happens when I hit constrain delay compensation, but rather than turning the plug’s off, it put them into bypass. Also, constrain delay compensation turns off different plug’s.

Has anyone else had this happen?

I had the same thing yesterday.
I was tweaking levels and eq in Automation Preview mode and when I punched in there was a dropout at that point.
On investigation, I saw that ramdom plugins had been bypassed, for example some but not all Post Filters and some random Waves and UAD plugins.
Also, some Reverb sends had been switched to Pre Fade.
