Pushing the left and right channels to the far left and right

Hi,

I would like to push/process the left and right channels of a stereo track to the sides, that is, far left and right and removing the center as this image. Say the green and yellow represent the left and right channels and magenta where the sound is blocked (If I can use this word!) after the stereo track is processed. A is the listener’s ears.

I suppose I can split the stereo track and push the mono tracks corresponding to the left to right of the original stereo. Are there any other ways, say using a “VST multiPanner” plugin? If so, how please?

I use Voxengo MSED for mid-side processing. It works quite well for encoding and decoding.
