Putting audio from LE5 to a flash drive

How do I put a project, say with 6 or so tracks, unto a flash drive so I don’t stress the internal drive of my laptop? I used to use an external USB HD on my desktop but that was with Sonar and it had instructions on how to do that. I don’t see that in the instructions for LE5. I think a flash drive is fast enough. If it isn’t would someone tell me so? I was thinking a 64 gig flash drive would handle at least 12 hours of 8 track projects.

It would be convenient to put wav files on a flash drive also so I can go to my desktop for final mixing and such. So how do I do those jobs? If I have to use a USB HD so be it but a flash drive seems a lot more convenient if I can use that technology. Thanks ahead of time for any help.

If 6 tracks of audio stress your internal drive, you should think about buying a new laptop…

Might depend on the drive…

You set your project folder to be on the USB drive.
