Description
Using the nudge buttons to nudge crossfades in the quantize panel only nudges to the right, even when clicking the left arrow to nudge to the left. See attached GIF.
Reproduced on Cubase Pro 13.0.41 Build 256 for Apple Silicon. MacOS 14.5.
Steps to Reproduce
- Create events from hitpoints on a track
- Open the quantize panel
- Click
Quantize to quantize the events (not audio warp)
- Click
Crossfade to close the gaps with crossfades
- Click the left Nudge button. The crossfades nudge to the right instead.

Hmmm… I don’t have this issue. But then I am neither on Mac nor on C13.0.41.
Hopefully a Mac user can counter-check it on their system.
In the meantime you can try to check if launching Cubase with factory user preferences fixes the nudging.
When launching Cubase hold down Cmd + Opt + Shift. On the upcoming dialog chose to disable program preferences.
Interesting! I have tried again to reproduce this behavior after restarting Cubase and my Macbook and can no longer do so. Both the nudge buttons work as expected. I’ll see if I can figure out which exact actions led to Cubase getting into this buggy state, but if I’m unsuccessful I imagine it’s rare enough to not be much concern.
