Quantizing notes

Dear Steinberg Community, how can I quantize some notes in the piano roll after recorded them live with a MIDI keyboard?
Thank you,

Valerio

That’s an easy one: select the notes, then go go “Edit → Requantize…”. In the Midi Quantize Options window that opens now choose the appropriate values.

Doesn’t work. I tried. Please see zipped file bar 6 where I played in a drum pattern. As you can see, I was off by a sixteenth rest in bar 6. I selected all notes of four bars and tried to requantize as suggested, but … no luck–not notes shifted. In bars 8 and 9, the triplets should have been requantized to 8th notes.
I’m used to quantizing after-the-fact like in Logic Pro, where the program aligns the notes to a rhythmic grid. Is this also how Dorico understands quantizing?

You’re right, there is a problem here, specifically related to using Requantize on percussion kits: I’ll make sure this gets fixed. Thanks for letting us know about it.
