If I’m not very much mistaken, there’s an engraving option on the Rests page for this somewhat archaic appearance.
Thanks, Daniel - somehow it was set for z-style quarter rests.
p.s. Loving 4.0’s jump bar feature. I simply typed in “rests” and quickly found what I was looking for.
