Question about Cubase and Reason

I’m demoing Propellerhead Reason via Rewire in Cubase but I’m wondering why there are 2 x stereo outputs for each instrument.

In Reason they seem to be mono but in Cubase they are split resulting in 4 outputs.

Is there a way to just have a stereo output for Reason Channels?

It doesn’t seem to affect the channel count but it does mean I can’t do things like stereo compression.

Any information would be greatly appreciated, particularly now there is no longer a Propellerhead forum.

I used to run Reason as a slave and I remember this becoming a thing a number of years ago.

Never used to happen - think it’s something to do with rewire.

It seems that only mono inputs are available after the first stereo output.
