Question about device panels

I’m in the process of setting up my new studio and now my Novation A-Station is slightly out of reach. I’m thinking of setting up a device panel for it.
Will I be able to use all the featuress on my a-Station via the decivce pannel and can you store presets and recall sounds via the pannel?

Does anyone have any experience withe divice panels?

Yes, I’m experienced … being frustrated.

Theoretically, you will be able to control the parameters you choose. It is a fairly heavy-duty programming task.

If you are lucky, you might find a ready made panel you will only need to install and configure to your system.

Here are some good resources.

Thanks, I’ll check those out.

I just found this… What do think?

SoundQuest is the big kid on the block. It is a pretty powerful editor. I have no idea how well the VSTi plug-in implementation works … which is what would be the functional equivalent of a device panel.

Try searching for it over at http://www.gearslutz.com. You can usually get some pretty good opinions there.
