Question about licensing

I’m planning to upgrade my DAW computer with new boot and sample drives (they are nearly full, and the sample drives are getting wonky with bad section errors, some instruments not playing anymore, etc.).

I’ll have to reinstall windows and all programs. As to Dorico, what is the recommendation? De-register it before taking out the old drives? Is that even possible?

You can’t deactivate Dorico once it’s been activated, but if you register your software and your Soft-eLicenser with MySteinberg, you can use the self-help software reactivation system to get a new activation code to use on your system after you’ve reinstalled everything.
