Hey all,
I know its not completely a cubase question, but it applies to using the DAW so I figured I’d as here.
I often have to go into my plugins folder to temporarily disable plugins, to this end I created a vst (disabled) folder. I’ve always had to authenticate to do this and understand why.
However, since upgrading to mavericks when I try to move my plugins from, say the VST folder (/Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/VST) to my disabled folder (/Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/VST (Disabled) ) I’m not given the option to move the plug-ins. Rather, the only option I have is to copy.
The Cursor gets a green + near it and the plug-ins copy, after which I have to erase the plug-ins in the original folder (after authenticating). Is there a way to turn this behavior off?
I believe it applies to VST and Components folder but, interestingly enough, not to the VST3 folder.
Any help would be appreciated.
