QUESTION: Can I convert keyshortcuts to use in older version of Cubase??

Hi,

This is the situation. I have to install a studio for a client who still runs Cub 8. Is there a way to convert or import my 10.5 keyboard shortcut presets so I will be able to use them on his system?

I rely heavily on my shortcuts for speed and workflow. Is there a tool for this or any way to do this?


I do understand that not all (newer) functions would be available in such a scenario but still would be great.

Hi,

If you copy the Key Commands.xml file from Cubase 10.5 Preferences folder to Cubase 8 Preferences folder, I believe Cubase will manage it.
