Is there a way to determine -if- a VSTi (Rack Instrument) is actually used on any MIDI tracks? And if so, -which- tracks? I often find VSTis in the rack and I -think- they are unused, but I can’t be sure without (tediously) going through EVERY MIDI track (sometimes hundreds) to determine yes/no.

Yes, you can do this in the VST Instrument Rack. There are an In and Out buttons for every single Instrument. Click to the In one, and select the entry from the drop-down menu.
So what it does is actually -select- all the MIDI tracks connected to the VSTi… which is good. It would be even -better- if it simply gave one a drop down list of tracks (similar to the Sources box in the Track Editing Window).
