Hi,

Just want to double-check as stated in the subject:
Does the staff-relative font size equal the absolute font size at a 7 mm staff?

That’s what it seems like to me, but human perception is not generally considered a trustworthy source and there is no confirmation of that in the user manual.

The ‘absolute’ staff height in Dorico is 20 points, which is about 7.05mm.

Thanks for clearing that out, dankreider and benwiggy! :slight_smile: However, I think it would be good if this also could be clarified better in the manual. For now, it only says this:
