Hey guys,
I’m using cubase 5.5 and Alesis QX 49 and every time I turn knobs or faders, vsti parameters like pan, cutoff etc…change…even though I haven’t assigned them 
It’s very annoying, controller already tweaks a parameter in the vsti by default…
How do I fix that?

Have a look in Devices menu>Device Setup. Check if there is already something assigned to Quick Controls, and also Generic Remote Device(s), paying attention to the MIDI Input (maybe your Alesis is already routed to one of them (possibly via “All MIDI Inputs”?).
Is this happening, no matter which VSTi? (it could be that a particular VSTi has certain controllers assigned to it internally).
