Quick Controls vx Yamaha MG-XU

Hi,

I’m new to cubase and feeling a little overwhelmed! I’ve recently connected my Yamaha MG12XU mixer to my computer and have seen people connecting midi controllers to the ‘Quick Controls’ on youtube. It looks very easy but I just can not get it to work with my mixer.

Are there any issues with my mixer and Cubase or could someone please point me to a how to guide?

First you gotta download the steinberg usb audio driver for you windows or apple computer

What you have is an audio mixer, not a MIDI controller. It can’t do that.
