I can not hear my playback unless go into play and adjust the sound. Is there anyway to have the sound set as a rule and not have to adjust every time?
HI @0202, if with “adjust sound” you mean increase the mixer levels, you can set your desired default level in Preferences > Play > Mixer > Default Output Level. This will give your the set level for future Projects. To apply this default to your already existing project, go in menu Play and choose Apply Default Output Level.
If this is not what you need, please explain more in details what you mean with “I can not hear my playback” (is completely mute or is just too low?) and “adjust the sound”.

Yes, this is my challenge. I have to go into the mixer and turn up all of the sound with every new file. When I go to Edit > Preferences > Play > I do not see mixer. Only Play back template.
Search better, there should be one line with a horizontal fader (slider ?) that you can use to define the default level of your faders (in Preferences>Play). It’s probably set at-6.03dB, which is fine for a full orchestral work. Set it to-2 dB or 0 dB and you should be ok !
