Random crashes after update to 6.5

Hi guys,

I just knew it would be trouble but I couldn’t resist the update cause the lane behaviour in C6 drove me crazy.

Now I’m in crash heaven (runtime error, C++ redistributablabla…the old story) so I trashed the preferences. No luck…

What else needs to be done??

Thanks for any pointers but I hope it’s not gonne be a system reinstall :wink:

Does it crash during updating or when starting Cubase?

Sorry, I should have been a bit more specific.
It’s when I’m using the program.

Last time it happened when selecting a preset in one of the new Cubase VSTi’s…
The crash before that was after I duplicated an audio track…

Can’t see a correlation.
