When editing right-hand guitar fingerings and advancing the popover by holding the right arrow key to jump to the next note, some previously entered fingerings are randomly deleted. Left arrow seems to be “non-destructive”. From what I have observed, this occurs not only in my test example but everywhere.
Hi @Armin_der_Zweite, I cannot reproduce your issue:

Can you upload a Dorico file example, with the exact steps to reproduce the issue?
Hi @Christian_R , I see. Did you press the arrow continuously or repeatedly?
Here the issue occurs only with continuous pressing.
In the attached example file I had the i, m fingering and corrected the high e to finger a. Then, in order to “run” to the next e, I pressed the arrow once. The result are again randomly erased right hand fingerings.
I’m on a Mac mini M4 with Tahoe. So I suppose that it should be no problem on this part.
Fingering Erase Example.dorico (1,5 MB)
I can reproduce this (on Windows) also with newly created files.
I’m unable to reproduce the problem. However, I suggest that instead of holding down the right arrow key, you consider using Tab to jump to the start of the next bar.
Thank you, @dspreadbury, @Christian_R and @Martin90 for trying out. Apparently, the problem occurs on my system and on some others as well, but not on all of them. So I hope that it can be resolved at some point in the future.
