Recently, I’ve started experiencing inexplicable sound output problems.
The occurrences differ in context:
During note input or editing, clicking a note suddenly does not result in sound.
The green light at the bottom right corner does lit, indicating that the signal from the midi keyboard is recognized.
In that type of incidents, tapping ‘P’ for playback does start normal playback, and for a few minutes everything appears to be working normally. And then, selecting a note in different voice triggers the same problem - no sound, yet green LED is indicating the clicks.
Another type of sound output problem is random muting of one of the instruments during otherwise normal playback of the score*.* (The score is utterly small set of instruments).
The problem is not limited to one particular project. It occurs in different projects regardless of the time the projects were created.
Neither restarting Dorico nor even re-installing the app fixes the problem.
The playback template is default: HSO, Halion, etc
