Re Download and reinstall Cubase sans discs?

Can I download full versions of Cubase 6 and Halion 3 ?

I’m helping a client recover from a hard drive crash on his MacBook Pro.
His dongle is authorized up to Cubase 6 and Halion 3.

I’ve looked at the Steinberg website and cannot find a full download for either.
He has discs for Cubase 5 which I was able to install but he says that he never had discs for Cubase 6.
I downloaded the 6.07 update but it wants to see an installed version.
Can I download the trial for 6.5 and then pay the update price? Or will I still need to have CB6 installed first?

Any help would be appreciated.

Yes. The trial version is the full installer.

Regarding the missing discs - I thought the same thing. Then I thought he must have authorized a downloaded trial version of 6. I’m about to do install the trial version of 6.5 which he will buy and hopefully be back on his feet.
I’m waiting to hear back from Steinberg technical support.
