Hi there,
I upgraded from full C5 to full C6 a month ago, and I realized that I still have the Cubase 5 icon on my desktop window. With all the excitement, I didn’t see that I installed C6 on a different place than it was planned (which was supposed to be exactly the same HD where C5 is).
I guess the only solution would be to unisitall C6 and re-install it in other HD… The question is, should I ? Is there any other solution ? Should the dongle get me into any trouble doing that?
Thanks and regards,
Martin
the dongle is not system specific. I have Cubase on a laptop and on studio system. I move the dongle to which ever one I want to use.
so you will be fine switching ing hard drives
rmandelbaun, thanks for the reply.
I know that, in fact I also hace C6 intalled on my laptop, and just change the USB from one to another. But I think I have to re-install Cubase 6, and my question was if it would represent any problem… I think not, but I would like to be sure.
Thanks and regards,
Martin
hen you have solved your question, two completely different intalls and no problem
