Here we go again, Trying to install ETUDE lib and I keep getting this:
I downloaded it directly, bur was not sure where does it go. I put it in where my regular libs are but no dice. Why does Yamaha make it so hard to install these libs??

Hi,
Steinberg offers the Download Assistant, which will take care of downloading, but also installing the lib(rarie)s. Your screenshot shows that you used it, but you also talk about direct download.
I remember that there is an additional step concerning/confirming the license of Etude (assuming you are talking about the new piano library offered by Steinberg for Dorico).
I know, there are already threads on this. I am guessing, but if you take the error message literally, it might have to do with some security settings of your operating system (Windows or Mac?)
Did you update the Download Assistant to the latest version?
There was recently an update because of a certificate update
Finally got Dorico to see the Libs. Thanks to ALL !!
It may seem like an extra complication, but in order to make sure that you’ve installed the app itself, the licensing software, the HALion player, and all the sample libraries:- then the SDA is actually really helpful.
And if you buy other Steinberg products as well, like additional sample libraries, Cubase, etc: then having something to manage it all does help a lot.
Sal, you are showing us the same screenshot as in your initial post.
How did you proceed since then?
Have you installed the newest version of the Download Assistant (that step is crucial)?
And if the Download Assistant does not work, you can still download all packages via the Steinberg web site.
E.g. Etude Elements you can download via this link
