I just got this app on my ipad air m2 for mixing. I was not running any plugins besides internal, using no more than 5% of my CPU power.
On three separate occasions while editing automation or the mixer while the track was playing, the app crashed and when I reopened it it permanently deleted my track with all of its cuts / information on it.
I am very annoyed about this, and am upset that version history is not even a feature here as a backup to if a crash like this happens.
Unless there is some fix here I am not seeing or a legitimate user error on my behalf, I am going to request a refund for this app.
Hi eje2003,
I use a 13” Air M2 and I haven’t encountered your issues, have you tried rebooting your iPad and then start again, this seems to solve a lot of problems.
Mike
While I will try again, I think the several hours of lost progress due to no version saving is making this not a good fit for me. I have a lot of health issues in the way of getting to making music, so data loss like this is a non-negotiable. It feels like getting kicked while I’m down.
We are sorry to read about the issues you are experiencing.
To assist you further, please provide a detailed report of the crash issue, including the Cubasis app version, as well as your device and OS information.
If available, please also include any crash reports.
Additionally, a short video showing the steps leading to the issue would be very helpful.
If you use Cubasis for iOS, it would also be useful to know whether the problem might be related to the use of any third-party plug-ins.
