Realtime Input Metering while recording?

I’ve added a mastering mixer to integrate all my hardware. I play back my mix through my Lynx Aurora into my mixer, where I process the audio. After processing, I return to WaveLab to record/capture the audio onto a new track. However, I can’t figure out how to check my input levels or insert a LUFS meter (or any other meter) in WaveLab.

Currently, the Level Meter, WaveScope, and Loudness Meter only display playback levels from the playback track. What I need is to monitor the input levels in real time—the processed audio coming from my mixer.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You can do that when recording via the Master Section, or from the Recorder dialog (in this second case, if you choose to monitor the input).

Thanks, PG! I’ll try your suggestions.
I’m using the second option to check levels.
Having used Montage since earlier versions, with plugins and Insert FX to print my masters, I find it very easy and convenient to simply insert the Supervision plugin to check all the levels.
Will be great to add this feature
Thanks for your support.

I forgot that this is already possible to do it also from the Montage :slightly_smiling_face:
Activate track monitoring and have “Direct Monitor” OFF. And it just works.
What you actually see in the meters, then, is the montage output (Master Section output, actually), which also contains the monitored input signal.
