Reason Rewire not connecting

I’ve restarted and selected reason in the rewire section. Then, I try to select reason and it tells me it can’t be opened, and to close Reason, reopen and try again, but this does not work. I keep getting the same error.

Is there a way to force this to work?

I’m using Cubase 10.0.15 and Reason 10.2.2d1

Not sure if this makes a difference, but this is a file that is several years old, and the output for my previous reason connection says “Missing: Reason 5 2”, but I can’t find a connection anywhere. I do have Reason selected in the Rewire section under “Studio”

Hi,

The only one idea I have is, that the old file could be based on 32-bit ReWire, but you need 64-bit ReWire now.

Try opening Reason on it’s own without cubase, open the song and the save it. Reason 5 did have a rewire problem so save it in reason 10.2.2D1 and then close it and open cubase and reason, see if that helps.
