REASON with Cubase 13

Hi I had Cubase 10.5 rewired with Reason. I created whole tracks in Reason 10 that I used inside Cubase projects . Can I do that with Reason in Cubase 13 ? I read Its a VST plug in now. As a VSTI can I still make multiple tracks in Reason ? I have Reason 10. Can I use it in Cubase 13 …If not do I buy it as a VST now and how do I do that …you input is invaluable. Thanks in advance. The VSTi component of Reason is just for the synths and FX. I switched to that because the integration of Rewire was clumsy.
If you are running tracks in Reason (i.e. sequenced parts are done in Reason), then you’d need to use Rewire to slave Reason to Cubase. Otherwise, any instance of the Reason VSTi will play MIDI that is sequenced in Cubase like any other VSTi would. However, to play multiple parts, you’ll need an instance for each part, as there is only one audio output in the reason VSTi. Although, I imagine you could do a sub mix in the Reason VSTi. Too hard…

Thanks heaps…no rewire and slaving Reason to Cubase for 13 so basically I can’t do what I did before in 10.5 which worked seamlessly , with 13. Bunmer

Progress.

I still use Reason 5 (32bit) occasionally and hook it up to Cubase Elements 11 with JBridge. I don’t remember how I got it working but it just seemed to work after I installed JBridge and Cubase hadn’t seen it previous to this.

I read that it was Reason that discontinued Rewire, not Steinberg.

That’s true.

Yeah, I miss that workflow too. I used to use Reason as a synth sample player rack and would sometimes use the effects in the rack as well. I’d save projects for different styles of music as templates. The CPU efficiency was amazing. The graphics are still unmatched.
I did an inventory of the sounds that I loved the most and use it as a plugin for those sounds now. But I’m trying to wean myself off of Reason.

I use Reason in the same fashion… I’ve tried sampling some of the patches I use but looping things with active modulation is difficult.
