Recommendations for a duplex doublesided printing printer?

RIght now I am working with an M110w HP laser printer, which can only handle manual jobs.

My early version of Dorico 1.2 didn’t allow for auto duplex printing but my upgrade does.

It (particular printer) is proving to be a little less than capable for handling my needs. The HP 3001dw looks better suited to what I have to do - print “about 1300” double sided pages, which means (all my Dorico projects thus far including individual parts)

My Q is, would anyone be able to tell me if this would be a good choice of replacement?

I do not want to hassle with manual feed any longer, esp since this particular machine does have jam issues, uneven feed (at times) and also “ran out of ink after only about 200pp” -HP says their carts are “good for 950”…

Anyway

I neither need nor want a color printer, b&w works fine.

But again –would anyone affirm this is a workable solution?

Hi, I’m using a HP Laserjet Pro M501dn, White. Georgous results… +6000 pages print capacity with an Xl toner cartridge…

I’ve been using this Brother printer and I’m very happy with it.

Same here. No problems, except for the duplex issue on Mac, which is discussed in another post but is not specific to this printer.

that’s pretty far above what I am looking to shell out for it.

I initially tried a Brother printer, but it had some horrible features completely not in line with what I am trying to do.

Basically, can I do what I need with this “next step up HP?”

I’d like to think that I can…

WIll Dorico do double sided auto printing w no issues.

I routinely print scores double-sided with no issues.
