Recommended way to roll back to a previous Cubase version PC (e.g., C14.0.10 from --.20)?

Thanks for any suggestions!

Hi,

My recomended way is to don’t roll back. Why would you do that? What kind of problem do you have with 14.0.20?

If you really want to do it, you can uninstall just the .20 update by using common Windows uninstaller.

I did this earlier. On Windows I simply downloaded the previous installer and ran it. Then selected to repair install.
Broken compatibility with console one was my reason for needing to do it.

I don’t think it’s possible to only uninstall updates on windows any more… The show installed update option doesn’t exist on w11.

Thanks, @Grim .

I see the Steinberg Download Assistant doesn’t give the option to download 14.0.10 (attached).

I know where one downloads from can sometimes make a difference, I wonder if you downloaded from:

Downloads | Steinberg , or

Cubase 14 Downloads | Steinberg ?

Thanks again!

W10 here, in “Add/Remove Programs” (attached) it seems I only have the option to remove Cubase 14, not specifically Cubase 14.0.10.

Is there another Windows uninstaller you were referring to?

Thanks!

There did used to be an option to show installed updates in the add/remove (and could then uninstall them). I don’t know why or when it got removed but if you don’t find it I guess it was already gone in W10.

The first link just takes you to the 2nd link as soon as you select C14!!
