Record enable markers won't turn off

hi guys,

I’m new to cubase.
any ideas how you turn these red, record enable markers off? i want to remove them but nothing seems to be working for me here.

Those are the markers that set the Punch In & Punch Out points. You can turn them on/off in two places; in the Transport menu under Punch Points, or on the Transport Bar itself with the buttons showing triangles pointing up or down pointing at dots. If you don’t see these buttons right+click the left edge of the Transport to make them visible.
